Scatter Cushions

Cushions are a versatile and practical addition to any space. Adding comfort, colour, and character, they are one of the simplest yet impactful ways to energise a tired interior. They can be an inexpensive alternative to replacing existing furnishings, and can even be changed through the seasons to reflect your mood and desired ambience.

Cushions offer unlimited scope for combining different textures, colours, and patterns. You can mix up the size and shapes of your cushions to coordinate with other key elements of your scheme, and you can contrast or compliment your cushions with your wall coverings and curtains.

You can also mix and match fabrics for a unique look, and use trims or piping to add contrast and frame the design. For ultimate versatility, you can make your cushions double-sided, giving you the ability to change the look simply by turning the cushion around.

We offer many cushion shapes, from square to heart-shaped, with the most popular being square and rectangular. All cushions can be customised and are available with a selection of finishes including piped & zipped, buttoned & envelope.

Fillings

If your cushions are for use indoors, on a sofa, or bed, you will be looking for a cushion filling that is softer and more comfortable. If you are planning to use your cushions outdoors, either undercover or exposed, then you will probably need to go for a filling or pad that has waterproof and perhaps even stain-resistant qualities.

We offer the following options:

SUPERFILL

A high-quality feather cushion, Superfill feather cushion pads contain more white curled feathers per cushion for a plump, full finish. The smaller-sized feathers have a natural curl that acts like a spring, giving good recovery and softness. The feathers are encased within a 100% Cambric cotton cover to prevent feathers from piercing the fabric.

HOLLOW FIBRE

Hollow fibre or ball fibre is man-made and can be either soft and downy (hollow fibre) or small round balls (ball fibre). Both offer a fairly soft cushion filling and will need a good shake regularly to keep it plump. Cushions can sometimes be constructed from a base of foam with a layer of hollow or ball fibre surrounding it and this will give excellent durability with added comfort.

We can make custom seat pads and boxed cushions to suit your requirements. When selecting fabric always consider durability and ease of cleaning.
