Owner of Kitty & Gus. Always busy, Rachel wears many hats, as most small business owners do!

She can be found in her studio/workroom pulling together a room scheme or hand-stitching a beautiful set of interlined curtains.

When she’s not crafting, she’s at her laptop updating the website, adding new products, or planning the next event or customer offering, all while juggling three days in the shop most weeks!

With a passion for fabrics, interiors, stylish clothing, and beautiful things, Rachel hopes you love her shop as much as she loves running it.

The “Kitty” in Kitty & Gus, Katie is an amazing helper, occasional model, and our constant source of encouragement and emotional support.

Whether she’s lending a hand at events, trying on new arrivals, or simply cheering us on behind the scenes, Katie brings grace, humour and heart to the Kitty & Gus story.

The “Gus” in Kitty & Gus, Angus is our smallest helper, most enthusiastic contributor, and the friendliest critic on the team.

Whether he’s offering creative (and often very honest) feedback, helping to unpack new deliveries, or charming customers with a smile, Gus brings a joyful energy to everything we do.

He reminds us daily why creating a life of style, full of character and warmth truly matters.

Recently retired after a long and rewarding career in nursing, Janice is embracing this exciting new chapter with us at Kitty & Gus.

A loyal customer since our doors first opened, she’s delighted to be joining the team from the other side of the counter.

While new to retail, Janice’s home and wardrobe are filled with Kitty & Gus pieces, making her perfectly placed to help customers discover the items they’ll love.

Julie brings over 20 years of experience in retail clothing, primarily in ladieswear, and typically joins us in-store on Fridays.

With a keen eye for window dressing, merchandising, and all things creative, she adds both flair and structure to the team, keeping us wonderfully organised along the way.

Outside of Kitty & Gus, Julie enjoys life in the countryside, spending time with her horses and embracing the great outdoors.

Grace is our most recent addition to the team, joining us in August ‘25.

Retired after a long career in financial administration. Loves small independent retailers and having been a regular customer over the past year is very excited to have been given the opportunity to be part of the Kitty & Gus brand journey.

Recently retired after nearly 40 years in education, Fiona leads our Styling service with warmth, experience and an enduring passion for fashion. She delights in curating outfits that help women look and feel their absolute best.
